Nine Mile Basic School

Nine Mile Basic School, in Jamaica, caters to up to 55 children, from ages 3 to 6.

The original building was setup with a few concrete blocks. It had a dirt floor and no roof, and the origintal structure was 15’ x 25’ 6” (i.e. 382.5 sf). The School is located at the end of the main road, at the entrance of the village.

Now, Nine Mile is getting some major renovations!

Six Envirolet® Waterless Toilets have been installed at Nine Mile Basic School to replace the old ones built with breeze blocks. We hope to post some pictures of the installed Envirolet toilets soon!
