OWL Rafting

Dirk at OWL Rafting was kind enough to send us some nice pictures of the Envirolet® Waterless Toilets in use at their camp sites. There are several installed.

Dirk and Claudia Van Wijk, both National and International Whitewater Champions, own and operate OWL Rafting.

OWL is located in Foresters Falls, Ontario, Canada (near Ottawa) with raft excursions down the legendary 12 km “Rocher Fendu” rapids on the Ottawa River.

I went to OWL a couple of years ago with a group of friends for our first rafting experience. It was amazing!

OWL is very professional with excellent river guides that make sure you have a fun and safe time. You get a full day of rafting down the Ottawa River.

Along the way you stop for some cliff diving and food! At the end of the rafting trip, you meet up with a pontoon boat where they serve food and drinks while you float along the river back to the camp site. Talk about a relaxing end to the rafting day!


The main building
Off the river, the ammenties are very nice. You can choose to camp or stay in one of their cabins. And, the day doesn’t end when the rafting does. You can hnag out in the main building where there is music and fun!
