Envirolet Sealed Bottom Panel

Bottom Panel

Another great feature found on Envirolet® Composting Toilet Systems is the sealed bottom panel.

Sounds like an obvious feature, right? Well, it’s not. Some other compost toilets out there do not have sealed panels.

Why is this an issue? Think of it this way. On a weekend, you have many guests (above rated capacity) and therefore extra amounts of liquid waste are added to the system. The system will evaporate the liquid. But, with the extra amount of liquid it may be a bit behind in the process (normal).

The sealed panel allows this to happen without any leakage. Unsealed systems cannot claim this.

Note as well that a sealed panel is part of the NSF approval requirements for a composting toilet system.

In basic terms, the requirements state that liquid cannot enter the system from the outside or exit the system from the inside.

That is another reason why Envirolet Systems are completely sealed/liquid tight.
