“Hello,

Two years ago I bought a cottage that had an Envirolet composting toilet. As much as I love the great outdoors I do enjoy the comforts of home. Even before the deal closed I was planning on having a conventional septic system installed.

A reputable contractor estimated the job at $10,000, however it took a month or so after moving in to get the estimate. In that time I was using the Envirolet, a low water flow system with tank below the guest cabin shown in the picture. Quite simply I was amazed how the months slipped by without another thought to scheduling the contractor.

Day to day the Envirolet is identical to my city toilet. I had anticipated all sorts of worst case scenarios and none of them transpired. An Envirolet® allowed Dan to have the comforts of home while helping the environment! Also, $10,000 for a septic system is actually a pretty good price. It can often be much much more than that!
