Envirolet the Tundra Toilet in Alaska
Envirolet® Composting Toilet Systems installed in Alaska were discussed on NPR Radio’s Insight on KXJZ 90.9 in Sacramento, CA on December 18. Read about it here:

“Proper human waste disposal is a challenge in the tundra, where temperatures dip to 30 below. Today on Insight, a local student tells you how a remarkable $2,000 dollar toilet she has worked on has come to the rescue. Simone Sebalo is a part time Master’s student in Environmental Engineering. The compost toilet project is her Master’s thesis project.”

This helps to further illustrate the effectiveness of an Envirolet® Waterless Composting Toilet System in cold climate installations. We’ll have more on this project in future Buzz posts.
