Envirolet Provides Green Sanitation Solution for Church

Posted by Scott

Steve in Wisconsin sent us a couple nice shots of the Envirolet MS10 composting toilet system installed in their community church. We’re glad Envirolet is providing a green sanitation solution for them!

“Dear sirs;

Here are a couple of pix of our little church and the room we added inside for the Envirolet. We are a small group of mostly older folks and all feel real good about using indoor facilities instead of the “out-house”. The installation went well. Our lack of water and sewer presented quite a problem providing for needed conveniences. We thank you for your help in choosing the right unit. We can now plan on a small picnic area on the south side of the church this spring!!

Thank you again.”

Cindy Loves Both of Her Envirolet Systems

Posted by Scott

Envirolet replaces septic in home and adds sanitation to a camper.

Cindy in Maine sends us this photo and some very nice comments about her two Envirolet composting toilet systems.

“We bought our first Envirolet composting toilet 2 years ago and used it with our camper on our property in Maine while we were building our house. We decided to put a low water unit in our house instead of a septic system.

The composting unit is outside the house in a small shed. The toilet inside looks and works great. You have a wonderful product and customer service that can’t be beat.”

Cindy H.

Thanks, Cindy! We really appreciate it!

Envirolet in Ecologium (en Francais)

Posted by Scott

French speaking Envirolet Buzz readers might want to check out this story in the French Ecologium that discusses composting toilets and quotes me regarding water use.

BUZZ WORD Here’s a portion:

We also have information about Envirolet composting toilets available in French on our Canadian and European sites.

We Try Hard!

Posted by Scott

We Try Hard Rick S. in Winnipeg sent us some comments via our after-order feedback form about his recent small parts order. It didn’t start out as the best customer experience with some shipping issues, but it sounds like our customer service team was able to remedy the situation.

“The vendor is excellent. The shipping company tracking and delivery system had some problems with a way bill numbers error. I eventually visited the shipping office and picked up the order in person. Sancor replied promptly to my email and it was their effort that tracked the location of the package.”

Escape Artist Loves His Envirolet

Posted by Scott

Escape Artist Great Norman Bigelow sent us a great letter (by mail) about how happy he is with our company (especially Anna!) and his Envirolet MS10 composting toilet (purchased in 2003).

Bigelow was known for many acts including Trial by Fire, Straitjacket Escape and The Doors of Death.

“Although he is now retired, Norm Bigelow performed for years as one of America’s leading escape artists. His unique style was avant garde and revolutionary, breathing fresh life into a field that was worn out from its Vaudeville heyday.”
From Escapologist.net.

The letter reads:

“Dear Anna,

Here is the letter I promised. You and everyone at Sancor Industries are wonderful to deal with and many in business could learn from you.

Anna you should consider a college lecture tour, speaking on public relations. College students would love you. Also you would make a great deal of money and spread the product name all over the country.

Thank you all for the great service and product.”

Norman Bigelow

Very cool! Thanks for the letter! We really appreciate it and it was fun looking at all the photos!

Envirolet is "easy to empty and keeps any contaminants from entering any water supply."

Posted by Scott

Tom and Lois in Arkansas sent us some awesome comments about their Envirolet composting toilet system.

“I took a couple of shots and now can’t find my cable to connect my camera to the computer. As soon as I do I’ll send them along.

I love my Envirolet. Since we respect and enjoy the environment here in the Ozarks this protects and enhances.

It’s easy to empty and keeps any contaminants from entering any water supply. We are surrounded by creek so we didn’t want anything like field lines that might seep into the limestone fishers and get into the water.

This is one of the few pristine areas left and we intend to keep it that way.”

Tom and Lois S.

Thanks! We would love to see the photos when you find that cable!

"The design and mechanical workings of your system surpass others that we considered."

Posted by Scott

Paul in Washington state sent Buzz a great photo of his Envirolet MS10 composting toilet system installation along with his testimonial.

“Dear Envirolet,

We live in Northeast Washington state. The septic system in our cabin was reaching the end of its usefulness and something needed to be done.

After careful investigation of all the various systems on the market, I (being a retired Manufacturing Engineer) had no problem choosing Envirolet. The design and mechanical workings of your system surpass others that we considered. The west has been in a drought for quite some time so going “waterless” was certainly a plus.

Your system was far less expensive and more eco-friendly than installing a new septic system. The installation was very easy and was completed by myself in only one day. One of the concerns my wife had was the noise level of the fans. Not an issue. It is no louder than our humidifier.

Very impressive. I’m sure we will be very pleased for many years to come.”

Paul D.

Thanks, Paul! We really appreciate it! The grey granite looks great.

Happy BC Customer with 7 Year Old Low Water System

Posted by Scott

Thanks to Dorothy R. in Grand Forks, BC who sent us some wonderful photos and comments about her 7 year old Envirolet Low Water Remote System. The system is installed in her Spokane, WA cabin.

“We have had our Envirolet for about seven years now.

This is the little house we built for around the cooker part of our toilet.

Envirolet Low Water System

Envirolet Low Water System

We are nine miles into the bush so having a septic dug was not an alternative. We have a cabin in the Spokane/Deer Park area, so we tried to keep as green as we could get without giving up comfort of our own toilet.

Below is the toilet installed in our bathroom, and the little guy next to it is at our functioning urinal. We are conserving water with the urinal as well as with the low water Envirolet we have.

This was the best decision we could have possibly made for our needs. We have had one close neighbour (also a Canadian) who purchased one also, and they too are happy. We have had much interest in our toilet as septic is a bit of an expensive option for our location.

Thanks Envirolet.”

Happy Customer,
Dorothy R.

Envirolet Basic Plus (Non-Electric) in Michigan

Posted by Scott

James M. in northern Michigan sent a testimonial and a couple of photos about his Envirolet Basic Plus composting toilet system installation.

We are very pleased with our Envirolet toilet. There are no noticeable odors and it works in our remote location. We have vacant land in northern Michigan and required some type of an outhouse as there are no water or power facilities. After researching your waterless non-electric product we realized that we could conserve our environment and still have the basic necessities we require. We decided to convert a hunting blind into a composting outhouse. The conversion was easy, just cut a vent hole and install. We look forward to many years of use and highly recommend your product for other ‘remote’ applications.”

Thanks again,
Jim M.
