Envirolet DC12 in the Clean Hub
We are proud to announce that an Envirolet DC12 composting toilet system is part of the Clean Hub, an environment-friendly pre-fab structure that will provide needed shelter and sanitation to people in developing areas or in emergency situations.
The Clean Hub is a project developed by Shelter Architecture in Minnesota and later designed and built as a prototype by University of Minnesota College of Design students.
Shelter Architecture writes that “as part of our commitment to social equity on a global level, we are continuously evolving the idea of a small scale, self contained ecosystem. The Hub is designed to provide clean water, sanitation facilities, electricity, and agriculture to remote, refugee, and slum settlements.”
