Envirolet Basic Plus in Colorado

Thank you to Donna in Colorado for sending in some photos and comments about her Envirolet® Basic Plus (with added 12VDC Turbo Fan to help in high altitude). She writes:

“We have a ranch in the mountains of Colorado and we run cattle in the summer months. We are “green” - our cabin has solar power, we hand pump our water and have an outhouse. I was tired of using the outhouse in the middle of the night - so we purchased a no-power, self-contained Envirolet in 2006. Due to the altitude (~9,800 ft) and temperature we have had some challenges - we did purchase a DC [turbo] fan - it sure beats the outhouse on those cold nights!”
