ENVIROLET TO BE SHOWCASED AT 2010 WIRED STORE EXPERIENTIAL GALLERY
OPEN FOR THE HOLIDAYS IN NOHO SHOPPING DISTRICT

OSHAWA, Ontario (November 9, 2010) - North America’s leading manufacturer of environmental and economical sanitation solutions, Sancor Industries, is excited to announce its participation in the 2010 WIRED Store gallery with the company’s most advanced composting toilet system, the Envirolet® FlushSmart 700 (www.Envirolet.com).

WIRED, the cutting-edge magazine known for innovation and design, has curated more than 200 engaging products, along with interactive installations, for its annual WIRED Store gallery. For six weeks, beginning November 19, Envirolet will display its most advanced composting toilet system, noted by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of the “25 Products That Might Just Change the World.”

Envirolet’s FlushSmart toilet provides an eco-friendly solution for those looking to live a “greener” lifestyle and reduce their carbon footprint. The advanced composting system runs on a minimal amount of water (0.2L) or no water with certain models, and has an electronic flush switch able to move waste to a remote composting tank up to 70 feet away. In addition, its modern-looking design can easily complement any home’s bathroom.

Television personality and Envirolet spokesman Ed Begley, Jr., will make an appearance at the grand opening of the WIRED Store on November 18 to help celebrate the special event. Begley, who is known as one of Hollywood’s biggest environmental activists, is excited to see Envirolet take its place in the WIRED Store alongside other green technology and high-tech gadgets.

“Envirolet’s composting toilets are the best I’ve seen on the market today,” said Begley. “I firmly believe in the company’s products and know that composting toilets are a tangible way to help reduce our impact on the environment by transforming waste into useable compost.”

Located at 692 Broadway (at 4th Street), the WIRED Store will be open to the public between November 19 and December 26 from 11am to 7pm Wednesdays through Sundays. (The Store is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.) Visitors are invited to explore the gallery, test products and attend events at the WIRED Store throughout the six-week span; customers may purchase featured products online at www.wired.com/wiredstore beginning November 19.
