2009 Fall Cottage Life Show

Hey Canadians! Come and see Envirolet® Composting Toilet Systems (Canada, USA) on display at the 2009 Fall Cottage Life Show November 6-8! The show is held at the International Centre near Toronto Pearson International Airport. The complete details (hours, map, etc.) are below.

Envirolet Reviews: 12v Low Water Remote in Washington State

James from Washington State sent us his comments and photos of their Envirolet® Low Water Remote Composting Toilet that he installed in his “off the grid” cabin.

“I recently purchased a remote mountain lakefront cabin in Washington state. It is entirely “off grid.” Electricity is from a battery bank (charged by generator), water is from a spring, and there is no sewer connection available.

In my renovation of the cabin I installed an Envirolet low water toilet that is compatible with my 12vdc battery system. It is a remote system that fits neatly under the cabin. It is the perfect solution for my cabin.”

Envirolet Reviews: Waterless MS10 in NW Ontario

Thanks to Syd and family for sending a great testimonial and photos of their Envirolet® MS10 Waterless Self-Contained Composting Toilet which has made cottage life more pleasant.

“Several years ago I installed hydro power and immediately purchased an Envirolet toilet for our cottage in NW Ontario. I made the purchase after researching all of the available units on the market as well as speaking to friends at the lake who owned “other” brands. (Speaking meant listening to their horror stories).

The purchase was to make things a bit more comfortable for the ladies who attended the camp as the men would continue to use the outdoor privy. According to the women the purchase was one of my better decisions. Throughout all this time we have experienced no problems with the unit and have seen the advent now have 4 additional inside users - my 4 grandsons, twin boys age 5 1/2 years, their young brother who turned 3 this year and their cousin who had his 4th birthday in the spring of this year.

Even with this increase in use the toilet continues to operate well. As you can see from the attached photos, the only change has been the addition of a small step stool so that “the boys” can use it on their own. I don’t know what we would do without our Envirolet but I do know that cottage life would be a lot less pleasant.”

Envirolet Reviews: DC12 on the St. Lawrence River

Ross whose cottage is on the St. Lawrence River, Ontario sent us a testimonial of his new “working like a charm” Envirolet® DC12 Waterless Self-Contained Composting Toilet. Envirolet® helped in a location with no power.

“After a long and hard examination of composting toilets, my wife and I chose Envirolet to replace the outhouse at the cottage on the St. Lawrence. We do not have power from the grid so we chose the 12 Volt Battery waterless model.

We placed our order and shortly after the toilet arrived via UPS. I had to unpack it as soon as it arrived and it was all laid out on the picnic table. The bathroom/outhouse needed some work done to it and the old toilet removed. Next came the installation of the new Envirolet. It all had to be done in one day as we were without alternate facilities.

Installation proved to be quite easy despite of my lack of dexterity with tools in a powerless environment and the Envirolet is working like a charm. We had concerns about odour in the bathroom — they were without foundation — the Envirolet toilet with the 12 Volt battery and fans has absolutely no odour at all. It is truly amazing!”
